Back to Scouting Bash!

It’s time to kick off another great year of adventure with Cub Scout Pack 934!

Join us for our Back to Scouting Bash on Saturday, August 16th from 1–3 PM at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church.

We’ll have gem mining, a dunk tank, Kona Ice, and a mobile BB gun trailer—plus plenty of opportunities to meet other families and learn about all the exciting events we have planned this year.

Whether you’re a returning scout or new to scouting, this is the perfect chance to see what Cub Scouts is all about. Bring a friend—fun is always better together and it’s a great way to earn the Recruiting patch for your uniform!

Summer Activities

On Saturday, July 12th, the Old Hickory Council will be sponsoring a camp here in town entitled “Invention Convention”.  The camp is from 9-2 and will be held at the Council (Scout Shop on Silas Creek Parkway).  The camp has a cost of $25 and you must register your scout by this Saturday, July 5th.  More information can be found here.  Please note that both the Cub Scout waiver and Medical A/B forms are required at drop off for this event (and can be found on the web page if you need them).

On Friday, July 18th, the Dash is inviting Cub Scouts to a game, fireworks, a movie following the game, and to sleep on the field!  Tickets are $12 (game only) and $20 (game, food, and sleep over).  The link to purchase your tickets can be found here.  The game is a great time to get together and catch up with all of your scouting friends and families.  If you find that there are no more tickets available, just let us know and we can get some more allocated.

And finally on Saturday, August 16th, we will have our “Back to Scouting Bash”!!  This event will be amped up from past events as we will have multiple things for scouts and families to enjoy and participate!  More to come, but we hope you will mark your calendar now to save the date!  Zero cost for this one!

All three of these events qualify for the Summertime Activity Award (3 activities) for each Den rank.  It’s an easy and fun way to earn the award by participating.  We hope to see you there!
