Good morning scouts!  Tonight we are having den meetings at 7pm at Mt. Tabor UMC.  If you are signed up for God and Family, you will meet this evening at 6pm.  Remember: this meeting replaces our regularly scheduled Pack meeting to make up for our snow day.

Council Ski Days
This year, Council Ski Days will once again be at Winterplace in West Virginia.  For $80/person, you get:

• Full Day Lift Ticket (open to close)
• Ski rental equipment (boots, poles, skis, helmet)
• Customized 90-minute group lesson (must be at least 8 years old)
• Meal Voucher

Dates are February 6th and March 6th.  Please register at the council website.  Winterplace will have a list of all registrations when you arrive; nothing more is required.

Good evening Scouts!  Because we follow WSFCS schedule, no school means no scouts.  The den leaders have decided that we will make up this den meeting next week (Jan 25) instead of having a pack meeting.  Our next pack meeting will be in February.

Good morning scouts! Den meetings for 2022 start this evening at Mt. Tabor UMC at 7pm for all dens. Most dens will meet downstairs in the basement scout rooms; Tigers will meet in the gym. 

God and Family class will start this evening at 6pm in the scout rooms downstairs. 

Please remember to wear your mask when attending scout events. 

Pinewood derby cars can be picked up this evening if you did not get yours during the end of year party.

We are scheduled to attend Patriot’s Point on April 1-2.  Times and pricing will be forthcoming, but we need to get a headcount.  Please fill out this form if you are interested in attending this year.  We have intentionally picked a weekend that does not conflict with any Troop 934 activities, and we hope our Webelos 2 kids will come and join us for the weekend.  Please reach out to Bryan if you have questions.

Good evening Scouts!  We had our leaders meeting yesterday, and after much discussion we have decided that it would be prudent to skip the overnight portion of our lock-in due to the rise in Covid numbers.  We will follow the schedule below, and leave the church by 10pm.  This is supposed to be a fun get together – please wear your Class B t-shirt and masks.  If you have NOT picked up your derby car, they will be available for pick up on Friday evening.  

5:30pm-7:00pm:  work on requirements/electives as a Den
7:00pm-8:00pm: pizza and gym activities
8:30pm: start movie
10:00pm-ish: leave church better than you found it!

Hello scouts and Happy New Year!  Our annual lock-in is scheduled for Friday, January 7, 2022.  Here is some important information since it’s been since 2019 since we’ve been able to hold our lock-in:

5:30pm-7:00pm:  work on requirements/electives as a Den
7:00pm-8:00pm: pizza and gym activities
8:30pm: start movie
10:00pm-ish: lights out
8:00am (Saturday): pack up and leave the church

Spending the night is NOT required for our lock-in.  Please feel free to leave before or after the movie.  If you plan on spending the night, a cot or air mattress will make your evening much more enjoyable.

Rockin’ Jump Party TONIGHT, December 7, 2021

Good morning scouts!  Tonight is our annual end-of-year Rockin’ Jump party!  Please meet at the Rockin’ Jump at 7840 North Point Blvd at 6:45pm.  We get an hour to jump starting at 7 – please come with your waiver signed!  Visit this page and click on the orange sign waiver link.  This is a Class B event – wear any scout t-shirt you have!

There has been some confusion about the party this evening.  To clear things up: You MAY come to the party EVEN IF you did not sign the waiver or fill out our sign up!  Siblings and parents may also jump for the $10 group rate – SCOUTS ARE FREE!

We will be distributing Pinewood Derby cars at the end of the party – make sure to grab one on your way home!
