Big Sweep

bigsweeplogoThe “Big Sweep” is a conservation service project put on by the city of Winston Salem where multiple groups volunteer to clean up public spaces. Pack 934 usually participates each year. Exact locations can vary from year to year, but we have in the past traditionally been assigned Muddy Creek Greenway. It typically runs somewhere from 9am-12pm, but watch for our Upcoming Events posts for exact date, times, and location details.

The Big Sweep is a wonderful opportunity for scouts to attend a conservation service project, work OUTSIDE, eat some free pizza at the end of the event, and earn great some great uniform swag like the Conservation Good Turn Patch shown below! This event happens RAIN or SHINE, so please dress accordingly!

Please sign up here, so Pack 934 can assist the City of Winston Salem with an accurate pizza order!

Please have your scout wear their class B shirt (Cub Scout t-shirt) for this event.
