Parents of Pack934,
Pack 934 started its rich and proud history of “Helping our boys become men of Character, Honesty, and Integrity” 42 years ago. Several hundred Eagle Scouts and leaders in our community can say it all started at Pack 934. Today, we are one of the oldest and strongest Packs in Old Hickory Council. None of this would have been possible without extraordinary parents like each of you. We have been blessed with amazing leaders through the years, who believed it was incumbent upon them to ensure Pack 934 was better than when they inherited it. Furthermore, we have learned the boys are more engaged in scouting when the parents are actively involved.
As such, the Pack leadership started planning for the upcoming transition during my first year as Cubmaster. Brad Wood stepped-up to replace me as Cubmaster, Al Hadley volunteered to be the Pack Committee Chair, and Shannon Settlemire has agreed to replace Kim Towles as Pack Secretary. That said, we still have few positions to fill and are looking to add a couple of more. Along with Kim, both Joe and Ryan Leigh Runyon, the Pack Treasurer and Awards Coordinator, respectively, will be bridging over with their boys to the Troop in March. I will stay involved with the Pack until fall recruiting to assist in the transition and help launch a STEM program. In keeping with the spirit of the “Law of the Pack,” we need new leaders so the “Pack can help the Cub Scout grow.” Let’s work together to ensure Pack 934 continues to build upon its tradition as being one of the most organized & active Packs in Old Hickory Council and more importantly, “Helping our boys to become men of Character, Honesty, and Integrity.”
The description of each position is listed below.

Parents,
Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow evening (11/4) at 7:00 pm, we have our den meetings at Mt Tabor UMC. During the beginning of the meetings, please visit the sign up table to sign up for the January God & Me classes, the January Lock-in, pick up your new pack t-shirts and to bring in your BSA health forms and/or provide your cell phone number if you are going on the Yorktown Trip. To quickly reach the Health Forms, follow this link – BSA Health Form. Just a reminder that the cost for the new pack t-shirt is $10 for all except sizes XXL and XXXL which are $13. If you didn’t get a chance to order them earlier this fall, you can still purchase them while supplies last.
Thank you to everyone who turned in their popcorn forms. The delivery date is Thursday, November 13th between 5 pm and 7 pm. This year we are picking up the popcorn in the Fellowship Hall at Mt Tabor UMC. Popcorn money is due on November 25th. Please let Mandy Boyce know if you have any questions via email at mandyboyce@gmail.com or at 407-4433.
Have a great week!
Cub Scout Pack 934
Hi Everyone,
This is just a reminder that we will have a Pack Meeting this week upstairs in the Family Life Center at Mt. Tabor UMC. The Bear den is in charge of the set up for the meeting. The Webelos I den is in charge of the meeting opening and the Wolf den is in charge of a meeting skit.
There will be a table set up outside of the Family Life Center. Please bring your scouts’ Popcorn forms for turn in. You will receive these back when you pick your popcorn to distribute. If you would like a copy of your form, you will need to make one for yourself as we do not have the ability to make one of you. Please make sure that you have totaled each column, added up your total dollar amount and write it on the bottom of the form. If you have more than one form, please label each form. Also include the gift card location your child wants if he met the goal amount.
If you are going on the Yorktown Trip, please stop by the sign up table and verify or supply your cell phone number. Sign ups are also available for the January Lock-in and for the God and Me Class which begins in January.
Best Regards,
Cub Scout Pack 934
