In popcorn news, the popcorn delivery to us and pick-up by you, the parents, has been relocated right around the corner, to Northwest Baptist Church at 407 Petree Rd. It is directly across from the Mt. Tabor High School Football field. (Where we were last year.) We are still in need of volunteers. The truck is expected for delivery at 7:30 am. this Thursday, November 10th. Currently we have, Carmen Bridges, Amy Heard, Liza Wearn (AM only), Stacy and Dwayne Stevens, and myself down as volunteering. If you have volunteered and are not in that list, or can spare some time to volunteer Thursday, please reach out to me either by email or text. We will have lunch available on site.
We also need volunteers that have a trailer to help transport popcorn to the council warehouse. (We have been asked to help the council with 220 cases of popcorn.) The council is also requesting volunteers for Thursday, November 10th 8-12, 12-4 and Friday 8-12, 12-4, 4-7 at Salem Business Park, building #31. If you can help with this please let me know and I will get a list to the council.
Parents, we will send out an email and put it on the website once the popcorn is sorted and ready to be picked up. Pick up will be open until 7:00pm. Since Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools will be closed Friday and we realize some people will go out of town for the 3 day weekend, we have extended our pick-up time. If you can not get there by 7:00pm, please contact me to arrange storage and pick-up.

Speaking of den meetings. Everyone will meet downstairs (at least to begin the meetings.) The room breakdown is as follows:

We are so thankful to the Webelos I den for grocery shopping for the whole group! Due to Shane Harterink’s diligent planning we know the boys will not be hungry. They have purchased food for every meal Saturday. (They will be stopping to eat a fast food breakfast Sunday morning.)
If you do not have one of the above needed items, please let me know. We do have extras available. Please also note that the scouts will be sleeping at least two to a tent, so not every child needs to bring their own. We do however, want to ensure we have plenty, so if you do not have a tent, please let me know so I can keep track of extras needed.
