In the past, Cub Scout Pack 934 has followed the WS/FC Schools schedule in the event of snow and/or ice. Last year this led to the canceling of scouting events and meetings even though the roads had cleared during the day on Tuesday. In an effort to avoid canceling meetings under these circumstances, the Pack Committee has adopted the following policy regarding the Pack events in the case of inclement weather.

Tuesday Den / Pack Meetings:

• If WS/FC Schools cancel classes for the full day, a decision will be made by pack leadership if we are going to have den/pack meetings that night. An announcement will be posted on the Pack 934 Website at least 4 hours before the scheduled meeting.
• If WS/FC Schools are dismissed early due to weather concerns on a Tuesday, den/pack meetings will be canceled.
• If WS/FC Schools open on delayed schedule on a Tuesday, den/pack meetings will meet as scheduled.
• If WS/FC Schools have a teacher workday on a Tuesday — Pack 934 will still meet as scheduled.

Other Scouting Activities:

If severe weather occurs or is forecast for a Cub Scout event, a notice will be posted on the Pack 934 website 4 hours prior to the event indicating if there will be any changes to the schedule.
